Rabia Institute
Rabia Institute is a non-profit educational institute for women devoted to classical Islamic learning and spirituality. Our unique approach seeks to incorporate elements of the liberal arts and humanities into a traditional Islamic education curriculum.
The institute’s core objectives are to provide a structured educational approach to classical Islamic scholarship, offer a flexible learning environment and impart an educational experience that is at once intellectually rigorous and spiritually uplifting.
Taking its name from the famous ascetic Rab’ia al Basri, Rabia Institute seeks to revive the tradition of sound Islamic teaching institutions. Our courses seek to educate students in the main disciplines of Islamic learning including Arabic language, Quran, Hadith, Law, Islamic History and Spirituality, as well as offer courses on contemporary and lifestyle issues pertinent to women – all in a manner that is easy to comprehend and practical to implement in one’s life.
Our classes also highlight the importance of using sacred knowledge as a means of increasing our connection with Allah Almighty and furthering our spiritual development. Rabia Institute welcomes female students from the age of 12 years offering a flexible curriculum designed to facilitate women from all backgrounds.
